Group Talk & Walks
Walks for your mind
Scroll down for this year's local group meets around Peterborough & Stamford
What to expect
Led by me, a qualified psychotherapist and experienced professional hillwalker, these friendly women-only group walks are a safe and confidential space to meet others with a shared love of the outdoors and /or walking.
You will have the chance to talk and share with others if you feel you want to, but also to just listen without judgement. We will all discuss and agree a confidentiality contract at the start.
I will offer guidance for mindfulness and stress relief in nature along the way. There will also be moments of quiet, for reflection or just to de-stress and appreciate the natural surroundings. It's a chance to take a some time for yourself and be inspired by others.

Peakirk Talk & Walk
9.30am Saturday 16th May
Distance: approx 6km (3.5 miles)
Time: 3 hours approx
Terrain: grassy and hard tracks and paths, country lanes, woodland and river bank. As always please be prepared for some muddy sections if there’s been rain.
Maximum participants: 10
Cost: £12
The Walk
This is an easy and relaxed stroll from the village of Peakirk around farmland, through woodland and along lazy riverbanks. With big skies and a variety of landscapes in a short 5k, its an utter joy on a sunny day. It’s a gentle walk that I return to again for a fix of nature and local countryside. There will be more time to stop and connect with nature and to share (if you want to) as a group on this walk.
How to confirm your space
Firstly, please make sure that you are fit and capable to walk 5km / 3 miles off road at a reasonable pace.
Spaces are limited so please send me a message and you will receive a welcome email and details of how to pay to confirm your place.
