Talk & Walk events

Walks for your mind.
Scroll down for this year's group meets around Peterborough & Stamford...
What to expect
Led by me, a qualified psychotherapist and experienced professional hillwalker, these group walks are a safe and confidential space to meet others with a shared love of the outdoors and /or walking.
You will have the chance to talk and share if you feel you want to, but also to just listen to others without judgement. We will all discuss and agree a confidentiality contract at the start.
I will offer guidance for mindfulness and stress relief in nature along the way. There will also be moments of quiet, for reflection or just to de-stress and appreciate the natural surroundings. It's a chance to take a some time for yourself for once!

"This is a classic walk from the lovely town of Stamford to the Cotswold-like village of Easton on the Hill. Aimed at slightly more energetic Talkers & Walkers it’s a chance to meet like-minded people, as well as a safe space to talk and listen. No expectations, no judgement." - Jenna, Walk leader & Psychotherapist

Nene Way & Water Newton

18th October 2025

Distance: approx 6km (4 miles)
Time: 2-2.5 hours approx
Terrain: paths and tracks, can be muddy after rain
Maximum participants: 10
Cost: £12
The Walk

This quiet part of the Nene Way weaves a lovely route to Water Newton in a figure of eight. It's one of my favourite walks in the area, with the almost constant presence of the river and a meadow passage through the site of an old Roman high street. The terrain is easy going and flat.
